Truck Locator GPS monitoring system is designed for legal entities or individuals who, by the nature of their activity, need to monitor in real time the movement, refueling and fuel consumption of a large number of vehicles.

The basis of the system is browser-based software that is compatible with all modern browsers - Truck Locator v1.1, as well as monitoring versions of the GeoTracker application for Android and iOS for the convenience of the user.

Processing and storage of data is carried out on a server located in Kiev.
The basis of the program interface is Google Maps. Required for work, additional functionality is called up by menu items on the left side of the user cabinet interface.

Getting started with the program is carried out through the "Login to the application" (indicating the login and password), which excludes its unauthorized use or unwanted access to third-party data that is not allowed to confidential information.

Violation monitoring, route violation monitoring

This function automatically monitors speed violations and deviations from routes. You can specify the e-mail address to which the violation notification report will be sent, as well as the interval for analyzing events with violations.
In addition to speed violations, the report also indicates violations of the route of movement of vehicles.
Clicking on a line with a violation will open a window with information about the car that violated the restriction, and also display the location of the violation on the map.

Instructions for using the GeoTracker service:
1. If you are using a child’s or an elderly relative's smartphone as a tracker, then install the application on its device.
2. Register each smartphone under a separate account.
3. Each account upon registration receives an automatically assigned secret identifier.
4. Add to your list of identifiers to track the secret identifier, which you will find in the field “Your secret identifier” in the “List of identifiers” menu of the monitored smartphone. You can also specify the name of the object and its type. The type of object affects the choice of icon to display the object on the map.
5. If you are using an auto tracker or an animal tracker, then add to your list of identifiers to track the IMEI tracker, which is listed on the tracker body. If the location of the monitored object is not displayed on the map in your application, then write to the support service at geotracker2019@gmail.com and notify the model of the tracker and its imei in a letter.

It is important to remember that information on the server is updated only when the coordinate transfer service is on. For this, the GeoTracker service must be running in the background.

If your Android still turns off the coordinate update service (the GeoTracker service icon in the notification line disappears), find the "Battery Saving" menu item in the system settings and set it to "Do not save". The same action is carried out with the menu item "Allow unlimited use of the Internet." If you are disturbed by the sound notification and the icon of the coordinate update service, you can turn them off in the notification settings of the Android OS.

For normal operation of the application, access to location data and transmission of data to the Internet should be included in the system. If you see that during the unavailability of receiving coordinates from GPS satellites, the location of the object is not determined precisely, then disable receiving coordinates from all sources, leave receiving coordinates only from GPS satellites.

Some versions of the Android OS, in order to save battery, turn off background services in any case after a certain time. In this case, you can enable automatic restart of the GeoTracker application in the “Personal data” menu.
